Use factoring to find the zeros of f(x)= x^2 + 3x - 18A. First factor the polynomial x^2 + 3x - 18B. Use the factors from part A to find the zeros of f(x)= x^2 + 3x -18

Step 1

A) Factor the polynomial

We\text{ ne}ed\text{ to find factors such that when we sum them we get 3x and when we muiltiply them we get 18x\textasciicircum{}2}

These factors are 6x and -3x

we will now go ahead to replace 3x with these factors

\begin{gathered} x^2+6x-3x-18 \\ (x^2+6x)(-3x-18) \end{gathered}
