(b+7)(2b-1)

b=1/2 or b=-7

2b^2+13b-7=0\\\\2b^2+14b-b-7=0\\\\2b(b+7)-1(b+7)=0\\\\(b+7)(2b-1)=0\iff b+7=0\ or\ 2b-1=0\\\\\boxed{b=-7\ or\ b=0.5}
