Anti-federalists argued that the ratification of the constitution was needed and that a strong federal government should not happen. They wanted the power in local and state governments.

Anti-federalists argued that it was impossible to separate government into equal branches. i just did it on a test and got it right.

Anti-Federalists claimed that a strong, centralized federal government would equate tyranny, hence its powers needed to be divided into separate branches. Anti-Federalists aimed to minimize the power of the centralized government, and virtually provide more power to the state governments.
