3/5=6/10 so Naomi got 138.
Luke got 69.
And Natalie got 23.

To get the number of students who voted for each candidate, we multiply their respective fractions by the total number of votes.

NAOMI,

(3)/(5) * 230

We reduce to obtain,

= (3)/(1) * 46

We now multiply out to get,

= 138

Hence Naomi had 138 votes.

LUKE

(3)/(10) * 230

= (3)/(1) * 23
We now multiply again to get;

= 69

Luke also had 69 votes.

NATALIE

We again use the fraction to multiply the total number of votes.

(1)/(10) * 230

= (1)/(1) * 23

= 23

Therefore Natalie also had 23 votes.
