Two heterozygous purple-flowering pea plants are crossed. If purple is dominant over white, what are the expected phenotypic results?

A) 100% purple
B) 75%, purple, 25% white
C) 50%purple, 50% white
D) 25% purple, 75%white

I would use punnett square instead of cross diagram cuz this is a simple question.

Let dominant allele be P and recessive allele be p.

| P | p
----------------------
P | PP | Pp
----------------------
p | Pp | pp


As you can see above.
50% Heterozygous (Pp)
25% Homozygous dominant (PP)
25% Homozygous recessive (pp)

Dominant allele are always expressed unless there it is homozygous recessive.

So you will get 75% purple and 25% white
