An annotated bibliography is a list of citations. The citations could include books, articles, and documents. Citations are followed by a brief paragraph. It is called annotation. The annotation informs the reader with the relevance, accuracy, and quality of the cited sources. Applying the skills of analysis, thorough library research, one could create a useful annotation. Annotations must evaluate the background information of the author, it must indicate the intended audience, it has to compare and contrast existing work with another cited work.
