How to graph y=1/4x+5

Im not sure if you learned how to graph through a slope yet, so I'll stick to plotting points.

when you plug in 0 for x you get 5, so from the origin you go 5 points up.

now to get nice numbers we want something to cancel out the 1/4, so we plug in 4 and we get (1/4) * (4) which is 1, 1 + 5 = 6. so for your second point you go 4 to the right from the origin and 6 up from the x axis.

now just simply draw a straight line through those two points with arrows on both ends to indicate that it goes forever.
