if its a horizontal line, then the y is always 10 no matter the x.
using (2,10)
10= m (2)+ 10
m=0 since 10-10 is zero and 0/2 is still zero.
the equation would just be y= 10

Answer:
y=10

Explanation:

We know that if a line is horizontal on Cartesian plane then it must be parallel to x axis.

Since , the horizontal line intersect through the y axis at a fix value (a) .

The equation of line :
y=a

The given point : (2,10)

The x-coordinate of the point = 2

The y-coordinate of the point = 10

⇒ The horizontal line intersect through the y axis at a fix value of 2.

⇒ The equation of a horizontal line passing through the point (2, 10) =
y=10
