If I were you I would motivate her, she's only 45. I mean this is the 21 century it doesn't matter what your age is. She can still gain muscles. Tell her to eat healthy with less sugar. Drink lots of water and don't work out until you feel like your ready. Hope this helps!

It's never to late to start focusing on muscular strength. My 52-year-old grandma has huge muscles and she's had 3 cancers!!! xD
