State 3 terms that mean "solution" for quadratic equations

A quadratic equation is one equation which has one variable of highest degree 2.

Normal quadratic equations would be of the form


ax^2+bx+c=0

By solutions we mean

i) The roots of the above equation. i.e.the values of x when substituted satisfy this equation.

ii) The x intercepts of the equation


y=ax^2+bx+c

Because when we graph, x intercepts would be the values of x for which the equation is zero.

iii) Solution to the factors of the left term since if one factor is 0 the equation is 0
