The answer would be B. 1 because by using the pythagorean theorem ((a^2)+(b^2)=(c^2)) on this right triangle, (a^2)=((sqrt(3))^2)=3, (b^2)=?(let's use x), and (c^2)=(2^2)=4. So, (c^2)-(a^2)=(b^2). 4-3=1 and (sqrt(1))=1.
