2x+y-10=0
2x+y=10 ------------------->(1)
x-y-5=0
x-y=5------------------------>(2)
(1)+(2); 3x=15
x= 5
(x=5) substitute in (1); y=0

Answer:

The value of y = 0

Explanation:

The system of equations are given to be :

2x + y - 10 = 0 .........(1)

x - y - 5 = 0 ......(2)

Now, we need to solve this system of equations to find the value of y

So, Adding equations (1) and (2)

⇒ 3x - 15 = 0

⇒ 3x = 15

⇒ x = 5

Now, Putting this value of x in equation (2)

⇒ 5 - y - 5 = 0

⇒ -y = 0

⇒ y = 0

Hence, The value of y = 0
