Formula for the volume of a cylinder: V=πr^2h for h

V=πr^2h

divide πr^2 on both sides:

V/
πr^2= h

to solve for h divide both sides by pier^2
V / pier^2 = pier^2h/pier^2
V/ pier^2 = h
