I hope this helps you
ax^2+bx+c=0
disctirminant =b^2-4ac
9x^2-10x+2=0
a=9 b= -10 c=2
disctirminant = (-10)^2-4.9.2
disctirminant = 100-72
disctirminant = 28
x1= -(-10)+square root of28/2.9
x1=5+ square root of 7/9
x2= 5- square root of 7/9
