9.125 x 10^-3 is 100,000 is less than 9.125 x 10^2

If we compare 9.125 ×
10^(-3) with 9.125×
10^(2), we can easily identify that 9.125×
10^(2) is the bigger number.

Let us divide the bigger number by the smaller one to find out the number of times it is bigger.

So, number of times =
(9.125(10^(2) ))/(9.125(10^(-3) ))


=10^(2+3)


=10^(5)

= 100,000

Hence, 9.125 ×
10^(-3) is 100,000 times less than 9.125×
10^(2).
