3/5 (3y+15)
= 3/5 (3y) + 3/5 (15)
=9/5y +9
=9(1/5y + 1)

Answer:

(9)/(5)y+9

Explanation:

Note that 3 and 15 are divisible by 3, hence we can factorize 3 form the term in the parenthesis,

(3)/(5)(3y+15)=(3)/(5) \cdot 3 (y+5)=(9)/(5)(y+5)

distribute
(9)/(5) and we get

(9)/(5)(y+5)=(9)/(5)y+9
