Prove if xy=yz and z does not equal zero, then x=y

Xy=yz: if you divide each side by y, you get: xy/y=yz/y; so x=z. Since x=z, if you multiply both variables by the same number, they will still equal. Let this number be y: xy=zy. Hope this hels! :)
