i assume you mean 7 and 8 11ths.
You do 7x11, which is 77 and add it to 8, which is 85. you can then just plus in 85/11 into your calculator,
OR
do 7/11 which is .7272 and add 7 which equals 7.7272

Convert the fractional part to a decimal, then add the result to the whole number part.
