Make 2 1/3 improper: 7/3. Make 40 a fraction: 40/1. Multiply 7/3 by the reciprocal of 40/1 (that means the fraction upside down: 40/1=1/40): 7/3x1/40=7/120. 2 1/3 divided by 40 is 7/120 :)
