A remote-controlled car travels at a uniform speed of 3.5 m/s and reaches its destination in 5 minutes. how far did the remote controlled car travel?

5 minutes = 300 seconds

Distance = (speed) x (time)

= (3.5 m/s) x (300 sec) = 1050 m

Solution : Given,

Speed of car = 3.5 m/s

Time taken = 5 minutes = 300 seconds (1 minute = 60 seconds)

Formula used :


Speed=(Distance)/(Time)

or,


Distance=Speed* Times

Now put all the given values in this formula, we get


Distance=(3.5m/s)* (300s)=1050m
