If the ratio of pennies to dimes is 1:3 and there are 36 pennies, then there is 108 dimes. If the ratio of dimes to nickels is 4:5 then you have 135 dimes.

pennies to dimes=1:3
36=1 unit
3 times 36=3 units=108
dimes=108
4:5=dimes:nidlces
dimes=108=4 units
divide by 4
1 unit=27
5 units=niclkes=27*5=135
135 nickles
