Okay, here we have this:

We need to solve the following system of equations:

10x-6y=54

-4x+3y=-24

So, let's multiply the second equation by 2 to add the equations and cancel the y's:

10x-6y=54

-4x+3y=-24 (2)

------------------------

10x-6y=54

-8x+6y=-48 (2)

---------------------

2x=6

x=3

Now, let's replace x in the first equation to find the value of y:

10x-6y=54

10(3)-6y=54

30-6y=54

-6y=24

y=-4

Finally we obtain that x=3 and y=-4.
