Improper fractions are fractions that have the numerator as a larger number than the denominator. (ex. 123/100)
You can find improper fractions through mixed numbers (ex. 1 1/2). To create the improper fraction through the mixed number, simply multiply the whole number and the denominator. Then ADD the numerator to your answer, and that becomes the new numerator for your improper fraction. Usually you turn mixed numbers into improper fractions when multiplying or dividing fractions. Hope this helps!!
