A child throws a ball up in the air to a height of 3.5 m and catches it at the same point from which he threw it. The ball is in the air for a total of 1.7 s. What is the average velocity of the ball?

S = 3,5 + 3,5 = 7 m \\ V = (\triangle S)/(\triangle T) = (7)/(1,7) \approx 4,12 (m)/(s)
