The answer is D.

D) the Proclamation of 1763 is the political development that greatly increased tensions between the American colonies and Great Britain in the years just before the American Revolution. In fact, it is one of the earliest cause of American Revolution.

The Royal Proclamation of 1763 was given to placate Native Americans who have allied with King George III. In this proclamation, colonial settlement west of the Appalachian Mountains was forbidden. This is to shield Native American from attacks by white settlers which have been increasing in frequency. This also help Native Americans in keeping their lands free from colonial encroachment.

I believe the correct answer is D. the Proclamation of 1763.
This proclamation was issued by the British king and said that the Americans who fought for Britain against France would get nothing for their sacrifices in the war. This heightened the tensions because the relationship between two sides was already weak, and it grew even worse at this point.
