Duane's office is on the 23rd floor of the skyscraper. The copy center is 15 floors below him. The cafeteria is 3 floors above him. How many floors are between the copy center and the cafeteria?

18 floors. You subtract 23 and 15 to get 8. Then, add 23 and 3 to get 26. Finally, subtract 8 from 26. :)
