First, "8.8" as
(88)/(10)

Next →
(44)/(5) + (26)/(5)

Then →
(26)/(5)

Then →
(26)/(5) + (44)/(5)

Lastly →
(26+44)/(5) = (14)/(1)

14 ÷ 1 = 14

Therefore your answer is 14
