How is it possible for two different inequalities to describe the same situation? What

does it mean for two inequalities to be equivalent?

If a set of inequalities are equivalent, it means that they all have exactly the same solution. All inequalities on there are equivalent because all have the same solution x<2! X<2 is equivalent to x<2, clearly hope this helps!
