The people left will be 46% of 1200, which is 12*46 = 552 people

If 54% of the people leave at halftime, then that means that there are 100% - 54%= 46% of the people left.
So you just take 46% x 1200 and you will get 552.
Therefore, 552 people are left in the ground for the second half
