H=hours
M=minutes
You convert 1 hour into 60 minutes
So your ratio would be 60:45
Then you find the common denominator, which the highest is 15
Divide by both
45÷15=3
60÷15=4
Therefore, your ratio would be 3:4

1 hour can be simplified to 60 minutes because there are 60 minutes in one hour thus, the ratio becomes 45:60 if we want to simplify that even more, we have to divide both numbers by 5 45/5 = 9 60/5 = 12 therefore, the ratio becomes 9:12
