As , we know that

1 litre = 1000 mili-litre

As we have 80 litre of water

⇒ 80 litres = 80×1000 mili-litres

= 80,000 mili-litres

⇒ 80 litres = 80,000 mili-litres

∴ we have

Total water available in the crew = 80,000 mili-litres

As , there are 4 people in the crew

Let each people consume x mili-litre

⇒4x = 80,000 mili-litres

⇒x =
(80,000)/(4) = 20,000 mili-litres

∴ we get

Each people gets 20,000 mili-litres of water.
