Answer:

FOR AN EASY ANSWER JUST TAKE 380 + 5/100

METHOD 1

CANCELLATION METHOD

380 x 5/100 + 380

YOU CAN DIVIDE 5 AND 100 BY 5 => 1/20

=> 380 x 1/20 = 380

380/20 = 19

NOW YOU JUST HAVE TO ADD 19 WITH 380 = 399

METHOD 2

DECIMAL METHOD

CONVERT 5/100 INTO DECIMAL => 0.05

IF YOU MULTIPLY 0.05 x 380, YOU WILL GET 19.

THEN ADD 19 WITH 380 = 399

METHOD 3

DIRECT CANCELLATION

DIVIDE 380 BY 100 = 3.8 ( KEEP 5 IN ITS PLACE )

NOW MULTIPLY 3.8 x 5 = 19

AND YOU WILL GET

19 + 380 = 399

( YOU CAN USE THE METHOD WHICH YOU FIND EASIER )

HOPE IT HELPS YOU.......

The answer would be 399.

First you'd find 5% of 380.
To get a decimal point for 5% you just need to move the percent sign twice to the left.
5% ➡ .05

Now multiply .05 with 380
380 × .05 = 19

Since you're finding the increase of 5% along with 380 you add it together
380 + 19 = 399
