A rectangle has a perimeter of 48 cm and a width of 6 cm. Use the formula p=2l + 2w to find the length.

Ok. So if the perimeter is 48 and two widths equals 12, then subtract 48 - 12 = 36, which tells you two lengths. Finally, 36 / 2 = 13.
The length is 13.
