Trigonometric Ratios

The ratios of the different sides of a right triangle are called trigonometric ratios.

The trigonometric ratio called cosine is defined as the adjacent leg divided by the hypotenuse.

If we use the angle of 10°, the adjacent leg is 67 and the hypotenuse is x, thus


\cos 10=(67)/(x)

Solving for x we can have the answer to the problem
