Answer:

First of all, I think you meant nearest. Second of all, the answer is 560,000. The reason I know this is because of a rhyme, the rhyme says "Five or above, give it a shove. Four or below, let it go." and what that means is, if the number next to the number you are rounding to is a number between 5 and 9, round it up. On the other hand if the number is a number between 1 and 4, just put zeros after it instead of rounding it up and putting zeros behind it.

How would you do that? First is you know where ten thousand is, its at 56,638
lets just cancel the 5 hundred thousand so, then after that if right side number is higher than 5 than you round up but if it's lower than you round down. So,
since the right side is higher than 5, so 56,638 the 6 is higher than 5 so it has to be 560,000.
You can check if you arent sure!
