Hello, PEMDAS is order of operations when solving an equation.
1. Solve the parenthesis first/ Distribute
2. Exponents (if they are present)
3. Multiply/Divide (whichever order they come in)
4. Add/Subtract (whichever order they come in)

PEMDAS", which is turned into the phrase "Please Excuse My Dear Aunt Sally". It stands for "Parentheses, Exponents, Multiplication and Division, and Addition and Subtraction
