What is succession in biology??

the process by which the structure of a biological community evolves over time. Two different types of succession—primary and secondary—have been distinguished

PRIMARY succession is when lichens or mosses are formed over time then creating flowers then bushes then trees, This normally takes place on rock. SECONDARY succession is when a place is cleared by either people or a natural disasters, starting with small plants or mosses then going through the stages again.
