The best way to find out how many balls the machine can hold is to divide 2120 by 8, and this gives you 265.
Therefore, 265 balls can fit into the machine at once

Each time the machine is used it collects as many balls as possible (however many it can hold). balls per time is the value we are looking for. 2120 balls in 8 times is 2120/8 = 265. so it can hold 265 balls per time.
