D because you add 35+(-13) which gives you a positive 22 because 35 is your larger number. Then you had 22+8 that gives you 30 since there are two negatives you add them together to make that a positice 6. So you add 30+6=36

D. 36
35-13 = 22
22+ 8 = 30
30 + 6 = 36
