Substitution:
6y + 5x = 8
x + 3y = -7
x = -3y + 7
6y + 5(-3y + 7) = 8
6y - 15y + 35 = 8
-9y + 35 = 8
-9y = -27
-y = -3
y = 3
x = -7 + 9
x = 2
y = 3
x = 2
