There are two ways to write in-text citations for printed sources with a known author in MLA. Both ways require the name of the author and a page number. If the author is mentioned within the sentence, only the page number is needed in parenthses at the end of a sentence. If not, then both the author and the page number (with no comma) should be included within the parenthesis. Therefore, Hiroki could write something like either one of the options that we see below.
