A fraction has this form:

(a)/(b)

Where "a" is the numerator and "b" is the denominator.

In this case, you need to find the sum of the following fractions:

(7)/(9)+(1)/(2)

To do it, you can follow these steps:

1. Find the Least Common Denominator:

- Descompose the denominators into their Prime factors:

\begin{gathered} 9=3\cdot3=3^2 \\ 2=2 \end{gathered}

- Multiply the common and uncommon factors with the highest exponent:

LCD=3^2\cdot2=18

2. Divide each denominator by 18 and multiply the numetaros by the corresponding quotients:

=(14+9)/(18)

3. Add the numeratos and simply the fraction.

The result is:

=(23)/(18)
