How do you find the substitution for y=3x-34 and y=2x-5 ?

y= 3x-34 ->eqn 1
y=2x-5 -> eqn 2

sub eqn 1 in eqn 2
3x-34 = 2x-5
3x-2x=-5+34
x=29

y=2(29)-5
y= 53

therefore solution (29,53)
