where slpe=m and a point (x1,y1)
the equaton is
y-y1=m(x-x1)

slope=2/5
point is (-4,-7)
remember x-(-y)=x+y

-4=x1
-7=y1
y-(-7)=2/5(x-(-4))
y+7=2/5(x+4)
none of the options are the answer

A. is pass through point (7,4)
B is pass through point (4,7)
C is pass through point (-4,-4)
D is pass through point (-7,-4)

I would guess you made a typo and you meant to write y+7=2/5(x+4) for C

I would guess C
