I kind of feel that it's an exponential equation

64^(x-3)=4^(x+15)
so remember
if
a^x=a^y, whee a=a then x=y
and
(x^m)^n=x^(mn)

so

64^(x-3)=4^(x+15)

64=4^3

(4^3)^(x-3)=4^(x+15)

4^(3(x-3))=4^(x+15)
3(x-3)=x+15
3x-9=x+15
minus x both sides
2x-9=15
minus 9 both sides
2x=6
divide 2
x=3

if it was just normal thing like 64x-3=4x+15, the answer is 3/10

i hope this helps you

64x-4x=15+3

60x=18

x=6.3/6.10

x=3/10

x=0,3
