The\ slope-intercept\ form:\\\\y=mx+b\\\\m-the\ slope;\ b-the\ y-intercept\ form


the\ slope:\\\\m=(5\ miles)/(1.4\ hours)=(50)/(14)\ mph=(25)/(7)\ mph\\\\so,\ therefore:\\\\\boxed{y=(25)/(7)x}
