V=(1)/(3)\pi r^2 h, where r is radius and h is height of the cone.

Given: Volume of cone = 6 cubic inches

Radius =2 inches

Let h be the height of the cone .

Then , the volume of the cone will be :-


6=(1)/(3)(3.14) (2)^2(h)\\\\\Rightarrow\ h=(6*3)/((3.14)(2)^2)=1.433121019\approx1.4

Hence, the height of the cone = 1.4 inches
