The answer is B because osmosis allows water to pass through the cells membrane but at the same time keeping the salt out. Also i took the quiz B is the correct answer.

I believe the correct answer from the choices listed above is option B. When both water and salts are present in a solution and the cell needs water, it would be the process of osmosis through a semipermeable membrane would enable the cell to obtain the water without the salt.
