f(x) = x^4 - 3x^3 + 2x^2 - 2x + 5

(x - 3) is a factor of f(x), if f(3) = 0

f(3) = (3)^4 - 3(3)^3 + 2(3)^2 - 2(3) + 5 = 81 - 81 + 18 - 6 + 5 = 17

Therefore, (x - 3) is not a factor of x^4 - 3x^3 + 2x^2 - 2x + 5
