`1-(1)/(4)=(3)/(4)`

he has left 3/4 of his savings, now he spend 2/5 of this 3/4 so:

`(3)/(4)-(2)/(5)=(15)/(20)-(8)/(20)=(7)/(20)`

So he has left 7/20 of his savings
